Objectives of the Workshop

  • To develop an awareness of the opportunities for integrating coastal and marine themes into a range of subject areas and learning experiences.

  • To develop skills and strategies for integrating coastal and marine themes into a range of subjects and learning experiences.

  • To encourage participants to co-operate with other teachers and community members to integrate coastal and marine themes into appropriate aspects of their teaching in a co-ordinated way.
