Seaweek Discovery On The Eyre Peninsula
February 14th & 15th
Lincoln Marine Science Centre

Hello and Merry Christmas to all SA MESAites!

It's a terrible time of year to be thinking about your PD hours for next year, but never fear, we are here to the rescue!!

An exciting professional development workshop for teachers in the Eyre Peninsula area from Ceduna to Port Augusta. Teachers can earn up to 12.5 hours to contribute to their annual obligatory professional development.

The Eyre Peninsula has a rich marine heritage, both in maritime industries and in marine biodiversity. There are significant marine management and planning issues currently of relevance to the regional community, so the workshop comprises mostly local speakers to link regional educators with government, NGO and other representatives in their local area, thus increasing awareness of South Australia's unique marine environment. It includes at least two field trips (and a third optional one), an IT session, resource session and plenty of networking time.
Workshop outcomes: Find out what else is happeing for Seaweek
