| NEW climate change educational resources!
As part of its Great Barrier Reef Climate Change Action Plan 2007-2012, the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority has developed a suite of educational resources to help educators teach about the complex impacts of climate change on coral reefs. The following products are now available:
Reef Beat 2009 Climate Change and Coral Reefs – a series of ten educational posters and an educational DVD full of resources such as a Teacher Activities Book, a Teacher Presentation, and lots of great multi-media education tools. Climate Change Animations – a series of five animations covering the topics of: the causes of climate change, what impacts it will have on the Reef, and how specific climate change impacts will affect coral reef ecosystems.
