Student Research Sheet: Researching an Energy Source

In this activity, research to find out about different energy sources.

Choose from one of the following energy sources:
solar, geothermal, biogas, hydroelectricity, coal, nuclear, wind, waves, tidal, gas, oil.

Research your chosen energy source, using the following headings as a guide:

Internet sites and addresses
compact disks
indexes and abstracts
newspapers
key people (phone/interview)
visits to businesses/showrooms
videotapes
text books
on-line resources, e.g. Nexus
handbooks
yearbooks
atlases
journals and magazines
visits to industry
product brochures
radio program tapes
