Diving Deeper
10 -17 March, 2002

Can we explore further?
Can we help kids to discover more?

Walking Trail

Walking trails are a brilliant way of exploring further and diving deeper into your local area. Try to include some open-ended questions and you will be amazed with what your students can discover.

See the example below of a Marine Trail for Upper Primary School students and adapt it to suit your needs.

Marine Trail Sample

Themes for a marine trail could include "Marine plants are essential for a healthy beach system", "Each beach has many different habitats which are interlinked", or, "Water is essential for life".
