The 2000 NMEA conference

Harry and the pyramid the California
State University, Long Beach

Sadly, our touring came to an end with a long drive from Point Montara to Long Beach. On the bright side this was the start of the NMEA conference - five incredible days at the California State University, Long Beach. Go to the NMEA web site for more conference photographs www.marine-ed.org.

The conference was a great success, well worth the long trip. I always find it hard to highlight any one particular element of such a good conference but feel that I can sum-up by saying that the whole three week trip was highlighted by the incredibly warm welcome that we received everywhere we went.
